Empowering Young People Through Business and Livelihood Development

Creating opportunities for young people to build sustainable livelihoods and stronger futures.

Economic opportunity is essential to building healthy, resilient communities. Through our Livelihoods for Youth Campaign, Compassion Kind is working alongside local communities in Malawi to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to explore entrepreneurship and improve their economic independence.

Our local programs team facilitated a capacity-building session in GVH Tembwe and Likongwe, introducing young participants to business development, entrepreneurship, and the identification of viable income-generating opportunities.

The initiative focuses on helping young people recognize their potential, explore locally relevant business ideas, and develop the foundations needed to pursue sustainable livelihoods.

By investing in youth empowerment, we aim to address some of the economic barriers that contribute to poverty and limited opportunity, while encouraging self-reliance, innovation, and meaningful participation in local economies.

Our vision is to help create communities where young people have the opportunity, resources, and confidence to shape their own futures.
